Barfuaß in Hawaii!
Finally a bit more time! Whole five days we have on the beautiful island of Oahu, in fact the real reason for this trip around the world. For here I was on holiday last year (my first really long trip) and have written several songs that have now found their place on the new album. Among other things, just the title song "Barfuaß around the world."
I was just totally enchanted Hawaii, because on this island has a unique Flair.Es rains a lot, but somehow the rain has a very healing Wirkung.Er wipe away all your worries and just rinse them softly in the wide, wide sea.
Nature is absolutely beautiful. You drive through tropical jungle, past waterfalls, the sun shines through the veil of rain and it is thus first order rainbows. Then you cross through small, sleepy villages with some surf shops and music stores ....
That there is no beer in Hawaii is true also in part ☺! For our little cottage is situated right on the sea in a small village called La'ie. Since the whole place is apparently determined by the Mormons, is in no Fleck alcohol served or sold. Even the big grocery chain Foodland has a drop of alcohol in the range .... Luckily it is not far to the nearest place where you can get, however, as in the nation, only a beer, if you're already 21 years old.
time to celebrate, however, remains before us is not real. The time change is really hard because now, in Hawaii, we are in Germany that is 11 hours behind, which means that I could come as early at 20:00 to bed ...
But who thinks of sleeping because if there is to experience as much?
When I had bought in a music shop a ukulele, I've learned that here every Wednesday open stage stattfindet.Ich I've logged the same course, for when you ever get the opportunity in front of Hawaiian audience a song to play?
The appearance in "Coffe'Shop" was really a highlight of the whole trip ... Armed with my guitar Blacky I played two songs and the people were listening really interested and even clap along! Although they have not understood a word of text, the audience wanted an encore, but again not what I understood, because I the Hawaiian word for the addition have not known ... ☺
Afterwards I have spoken to many people total and I said that they did not understand but the words but the music, they felt very comfortable and has what special trigger in them ....
So it's really so.Wo ever you go in the world, it is more difficult than from any country that wants to go to that one, the language is to lernen.Besonders if there only for a short time. But the language of music is widely spoken and understood, if you're open to it, and you think also what you sing ...
then played a young man with his ukulele and sang, and that was simply amazing how he did it. Such a great voice, played like a champion comes to us now it's: a sudden start of yodeling, it's almost off the chair that there is a skin! I'm in Austria and Bavaria no one is soooo good yodel as he it has made! He has probably learned somewhere in Tennesee! Real hard!
What I have seen it all, thank God we have everything recorded on camera, because its cumulative impressions of various cities in the world, it's honestly hard to keep track ☺
But I know now that the trip is worth absolutely because I've already collected so many impressions, met so many different people as I did in my life before. The difference is, I am not intent on myself as I might if I had just gone on holiday ... I'm open to whatever happens and even if I hardly sleep, I'm bright and fit as ever!
