Am I ready! After 30 hours, be on the way from Tokyo to Hong Kong and Johannesburg, we are finally in the hot Cape Town! The sun is burning and I really want to SHOWER!! I am totally exhausted and it is essential briefly to rest kommen.Ein such a long flight is in fact far from being a luxury, it is narrow, hot, far too little space and even less if the flight is completely full, and you have no privacy, because the breath of the person sitting next to the neck feels ... Well, enough whining, because I'm finally here, in Cape Town it is hot and the sun shines on the head!
On the way to the hotel I met the same, unfortunately, a frightening Side of Africa, we drive past the poorest township settlements, and there is a fear and worry, when you consider that many families live here, totally, without a real roof over their heads. Some kids play soccer on a garbage dump and can not take their pleasure, while another family along the highway marches, laden with bags on their heads on the long way home ..... Just a stone's throw away are the most expensive way villas around, but you can hardly see out of sheer security fence ...
... Today we make the first time a trip to Boulder's Beach, because that is actually cavort little penguins who are probably here in this warm area like better. The Pingu's look totally cute, but I think that can also be ziiiiiemlich bite ....
On we go towards the Cape of Good Hope, unfortunately, no longer plays with the weather and I can not see much!
Never mind, it is always already almost evening and I really want to see play a couple of local musicians ... In Mama's House is really what's going on: A group of very young African musicians (the drummer was more than 12) is playing so incredibly well groovy and, above all with such enthusiasm, as you see it really only rarely. The store is jam-packed and this is the biggest hammer: The boys and girls play just stop without any electronic amplification, the singer sings the soul from the body without a microphone and with a tube .... brutal! Since I still miss my band and now wants to make music ☺!
After a short night's early in the morning two or three hours out of Cape Town in a beautiful national park where we join a small safari. I will go absolutely see elephants and giraffes! We are not allowed to own rumgurken by car, but it has a smart ranger explained to us all. Among other things, I now know that predators have eyes always forward, however, vegetarians .... the eyes on the side so I'm practically a carnivore, hui !
elephants, zebras, giraffes, springbok, ostriches, hippos and rhinos I have seen. The elephants were quite close to us and we can really make very great shots!
Wow, it was so beautiful I can hardly believe it!
I certainly hope that we have filmed quite a lot of nice things, that you also get an idea of what I was there to experience a great adventure .....
And now we can finally go home, I'm looking forward to home, sleep a little something and then I'll always be getting excited, because soon the second album comes out. And every song I'm going to personally connect with the trip because it is easy for me a perfect Experience was singing my songs all over the world: In the desert, in a relaxed club in Hawaii, with a cowboy in Nashville, along with gangsters in Miami or in the middle of the incredible crowd of Tokyo to stand with the guitar and a song about noise to play in a big city! I have lots of stuff and souvenirs taken from all over the world and wants to see everything, of course, immortalized in the album artwork ... Because only now it really deserves its title: "Barfuaß around the world."
