The current issue (No. 41) of magazine fantastic! contains an article by Achim purring on the new edition of the Dr. Nikola novels by Guy Newell Boothby in Wurdack-Verlag. It contains biographical data on Boothby, points out the similarities with his character Dr. Fu Manchu by Sax Rohmer or Loke Klingsor by Robert Kraft, reviewed the first volume, and concludes:
After reading the first novel (. ..) can be summed up in any case that Boothby Dr Nikola today to read fast, can still generate high voltage and, with a genre typically complicated action entertainment.
